Returns Policy

At Safe-R-Buy LLC dba Peninsula Defense, we are committed to delivering high-quality products while complying with all applicable laws and regulations. For the safety of our customers and to maintain legal compliance, the following return policy is strictly enforced:

Non-Returnable Items – Final Sale

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances once shipped:

  • Firearms

  • Ammunition

  • Apparel

  • Serialized or regulated products shipped to an FFL

If a manufacturing defect is discovered after delivery, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service or repair. We are not authorized to accept returns for these products.

Eligible Returns – Non-Regulated Merchandise

Returns may be accepted for non-serialized, non-regulated accessories under the following conditions:

  • Request must be made within 30 days of delivery.

  • Item must be new, unused, and unopened in the original packaging.

  • A Return Authorization (RA) is required prior to shipment.

Unauthorized returns will be refused.

To request a return, email us at contact@peninsuladefense.net with your order number and reason for return.

Restocking Fees

  • All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with a $30 minimum.

  • Items returned damaged, incomplete, or without original packaging may incur a higher restocking fee or be rejected outright.

  • Any returns or cancellations initiated via debit/credit card chargeback will incur the same restocking fee plus the original shipping cost, and by placing your order, you authorize us to charge this amount.

Refund Processing Timeframe

Approved refunds are generally processed within:

  • 5–10 business days: Return shipment transit time

  • 3–5 business days: Internal inspection and refund approval

  • 5–10 business days: Refund issuance by your bank or card issuer

Shipping Policy

Orders typically ship within 5 business days from the time of payment confirmation. Serialized items and firearms requiring FFL transfer may take 7–10 business days or longer if paperwork is not received promptly.

Domestic Shipping

  • Free shipping on all orders over $500

  • Flat rate shipping of $35.00 on all orders under $500

  • Shipping rates are based on item weight, size, delivery destination, and selected shipping service. Heavier or oversized items may incur additional charges at checkout.

Serialized Item Handling

  • All serialized items must ship to a valid FFL dealer.

  • Firearms will not be shipped to a P.O. Box.

  • If an FFL is not provided within 15 calendar days, your order will be canceled and the 25%/$30 minimum restocking fee will apply.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all items purchased are legal to own in their jurisdiction. Any returns resulting from FFL refusal, ineligibility, or regulatory noncompliance will be at the customer’s expense.

Shipping Restrictions

Due to federal, state, and local regulations, Safe-R-Buy LLC dba Peninsula Defense does not ship to the following:

  • District of Columbia (Washington D.C.)

  • Massachusetts

  • Chicago, Cook County, or Deerfield, IL

  • Connecticut (no AR/AK parts or firearms)
